Dogbar Fishing will be offering haddock charters starting on 1 May 2021.  Haddock fishing offers nonstop action from the moment your bait hits the bottom.  It’s also a great way to fill your freezer with fresh caught fillets.  NMFS will probably set the catch limit to 15 haddock in 2021 but don’t worry, there are many other hungry fish hiding in the depths.  There are plenty of pollock, redfish and an occasional Cod(we may be able to keep up to 10 fish, 21 inches in length or grater) and maybe even a shark or two just for fun!  If we are lucky we will bring up an Atlantic halibut.  We have seen more and more of them over the last few years and they are especially tasty!

The season will be here before you know it.  Get a group of friends together and pick a day.  We start early, tides and light are important, and we will have you back at the dock mid- afternoon.  Cost for a trip is $1500 and a 20% tip to the mate is customary.  If you want to come solo we will try to put you into a shared boat day.  Cost for a solo trip is $300 but we only go out if we can get three people into a group.
